Week of April 29th-May 3rd

• May 1st- Field trip to Science City, Bring a lunch! The bus will leave at 8:15am. We will return around 2:30pm.
  

• May 16th- Play Day, Look in the Monday envelope for a note with your child’s events stapled to it.

• May 17th- 3rd-6th grade awards assembly at 9:00am (Parents are invited to attend.) and last day of school. Early dismissal at 1:00pm.

Week at a Glance

Reading- Reading and researching about a place in the U.S. and a natural disaster that is common in that location. We will be creating a travel brochure.

Grammar- Review

Writing- Writing various poems- alliteration poem, creating our poetry notebook (Look for it to come home soon! The poems are so good!)

Spelling- Unit 5 review words (Last spelling test!)
